Amanda Bynes Got Her DUI For Being on Adderall?!

It seemed like Amanda Bynes was doing so well post-treatment...until she was busted for a DUI on Sunday.

And here's another shocker: the embattled actress was reportedly under the influence of Adderall when she was pulled over.

Adderall is a stimulant drug prescribed to treat ADD and ADHD, and the 28-year-old supposedly has a doctor's prescription for taking the medication, according to TMZ. But just because she was legally prescribed it doesn't mean she's off the hook if she was impaired while driving. TMZ reports she was "out of it" during the arrest...which is odd, considering Adderall supposedly helps with focus.

"Amanda was displaying symptoms that led us to believe she may have been under the influence of a stimulant," a CHP spokesperson tells E! News of the situation. "It possibly could be a combination of a stimulant and other drugs. We do not know.

They also report the troubled actress could face jail time since she's already on probation from a DUI she got back in 2012.

The timing of her latest trouble seems to correlate with her parents' conservatorship expiring on Sept. 10. Since then, Amanda has reportedly moved out of her family's home and they're very concerned for her well-being.

We wish her the best.
