Are you ready for what Lorde is bringing to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part One soundtrack?

We have to warn you that it's kind of awesome. In the "Royals" crooner's song "Yellow Flicker Beat," Lorde's soulful, breathy voice rolls in over a soft, simplistic beat before the song picks up with a catchy (but dark) melody.

"I'm a princess cut from marble, smoother than a storm/ And the scars that mark my body, they're silver and gold/ My blood is a flood of rubies, precious stones/ It keeps my veins hot, the fires find a home in me/ I move through town, I'm quiet like a fire/ And my necklace is of opal, I tie it and untie it," she sings at the beginning of the song.

On her Tumblr, the singer said the song was inspired by Katniss, who Jennifer Lawrence plays in the film. "Now, about this song - yellow flicker beat. my first offering from what i hope will be a soundtrack you love. it's my attempt at getting inside her head, katniss'. i hope you like it," she wrote.

The full soundtrack will be released Nov. 18. Check out "Yellow Flicker Beat" below and tell us what you think!
