Katy Perry to Play Super Bowl Halftime Show (Report)

There are a few reasons we watch the Super Bowl. Yeah, there is the game and all of that, but we like the commercials and the halftime show - and we know we're not alone.

We all remember every awesome Budweiser commercial and of course, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake's infamous halftime show, but it is much tougher for most of us to rattle off some actual game highlights.

This year, the entertainment is going to be especially exciting if the rumors we've been hearing turn out to be true. According to Billboard, Katy Perry will be performing at this year's Super Bowl XLIX halftime show.

There were rumors about this back in August, but there was also a discussion about a possible pay-to-play negotiation going on and Katy was having none of that. "I'm not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl," she said during her appearance on ESPN's College Game Day.

Hey, as long as we get to see her play the Super Bowl, we don't really care how she gets there!
