Did Gwen Stefani Steal Her New Song from a Swedish Pop Star?

Apparently, Gwen Stefani's new single sounded a little too familiar to Swedish pop star Ji Nilsson's fans.

Not long after the No Doubt rocker released "Baby Don't Lie," Ji's fans hit Twitter to point out the striking similarities between the song and Ji's "Heartbreakfree," according to Idolator.

After hearing about the chatter, Ji headed to Twitter herself Oct. 19, handling the situation in a very classy way.

She continued, writing, "I love @gwenstefani and No Doubt, 'Don't Speak', 'Just A Girl' and 'Cool' are AMAZING songs. Thanks for all the and support! I'm super happy that a lot of people are discovering my music! I have not been sitting around waiting to say that a famous artist copied the production of my song."

"Blogs started to write about it and people agreed so I listened to Baby Don't Lie and yes, I agree that the production sounds alot like Heartbreakfree. But like I said, I love Gwen Stefani's music and I'm happy that I got alot of new fans :)."

Although the lyrics are different, the production does sound similar. Which means Gwen's producers (Bryan Bianco and Ryan Tedder) - and not the singer herself - could be in hot water if this is all true.
