This just got us a little more excited for Halloween.

J.K. Rowling is going to release a brand new Harry Potter story Oct. 31, which will tell the tale of former Hogwarts headmistress and witch Dolores Umbridge, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

In case you forgot, Dolores is the same evil, pink-wearing witch who tried to make Harry's life miserable during his fifth year at the school. She also is "one of the most malicious Potter characters" and "the only person other than Lord Voldemort to leave a permanent physical scar on Harry," according to pottermore.com.

According to THR, Harry Potter fans will get a chance to take a look at the "back story about Umbridge's life filled with many new details, as well as Rowling's revealing first-person thoughts and reflections about the character."

The "special Halloween treat for fans" will be posted on pottermore.com on Halloween. We can't wait.
