The wonderful thing about the internet is that it allows for open exchange of thoughts and ideas. The not-so-wonderful thing about the internet is that it also gives people the "courage" to hide behind their keyboards and fling insults - at celebrities, at politicians, at people in forums or, as any online writer knows all too well, at us.

Bryony Gordon is a columnist for The Telegraph and when she shared one fan's um...feedback, it was a tad disconcerting to say the least. Oh, where do we start? What's she going to do now that some random guy (who obviously TOTALLY has his priorities in order) isn't going to be fantasizing about her anymore? She's probably at the gym RIGHT now trying to regain her coveted spot in his sexual fantasies.

Or, she's not, which brings us to our next point: What does her husband think? He probably thinks her body is beautiful because a) IT IS, b) that body brought their daughter into the world and c) we highly doubt that her body is the reason he married her.

But don't let us tell you, Bryony asked her husband what he thought and he basically said the same thing, just not in so many words. For what it's worth, most fans were as flabbergasted as we were. Good thing the quality of her writing doesn't depend on how many calories she's consumed on any given day. And more importantly, she's not about to let an email like that shake her confidence. Amen to that!
