Anne Hathaway Reveals How She Overcame Internet Bullying

For such a huge star, Anne Hathaway keeps a pretty low profile. She isn't tweeting every time she sneezes or blowing up any of our social media feeds with her selfies, but she IS still getting hate on the internet.

During her appearance on The Ellen Show on Thursday, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that she and her friends accidentally stumbled upon the internet hate while they were searching for something else.

"I had gotten out of the habit of Googling myself because that's just a bad idea," she explained. "My friends and I had an idea for Funny or Die and we wanted to do something on celebrity pregnancy rumors, so we just Googled pregnancy rumors and then the story came up," referring to an article entitled 'Why Does Everyone Hate Anne Hathaway?'

She admits that at first, she couldn't help but read it and listen to the hate. "I couldn't help it...I couldn't," she confesses. "And then I realized why I couldn't - I hadn't learned to love myself yet."

"If you don't love yourself and someone says horrible things to you, part of you is always going to believe them," the actress explained, saying that she's finally arrived in a place where she has a tremendous amount of love and compassion for everyone, including herself.

Then, Ellen quoted something that we're going to write down and hang up immediately, "What you think of me is none of my business."

Thanks, haters...buuuuuuttttttt no thanks!
