Forget reality shows and singing careers, Paris Hilton is making moves as a DJ.

The "Come Alive" singer won the award for "Women's Newcomer of the Year" award Wednesday at the NRJ DJ Awards in Monaco, according to TMZ, showing up to accept her trophy is a flowy, multicolored dress.

"Thank you @NRJDJAwards! So honored & proud to win the "Female DJ Of The Year Award" at your awards show tonight!," she posted on Instagram, along with a shot of herself palming the award.

Famed DJs like David Guetta and Steve Aoki were also among winners, taking home Best French Male DJ and Best DJ/Producer of the Year at the show.

In spite of her win, music producer Deadmau5 - who didn't win - showed no love to the heiress, tweeting out a major diss about Paris' spinning skills and the awards show in general.

"#killinit ... congrats on the NRJ award. what the f**k is an nrj award?," he tweeted Nov. 12, along with a video of Paris DJ'ing captioned "Paris Hilton Fake DJ." He also went on to comment on TMZ's story, writing this:

Paris has yet to comment directly about Deadmau5's remark, but she did retweet quite a few of her fans' comments regarding it including one that said, "all you complaining about paris hilton winning best female dj need to sit back and reavaluate just how boring you are as a dj."

Not so boring – Paris reportedly owns more than 500 pairs of Chanel fingerless gloves that she calls her "DJ gloves." And that deserves an award in itself.
