Some models are even mad because they think Kendall is stealing their jobs from them. "It is hard to see our modeling jobs being handed over so quickly to celebrities simply because of their fame, familiar face, and Hollywood connections," model Sierra Illig told Fox News back in September.
"It takes a spot away from a model that isn't a reality show star," Click Model Management's director chimed in. "The fact that she's Kim Kardashian's sister, and Kanye West's sis in law, and went to Valentino's house, and that Kim Kardashian was wearing a Givenchy. Well, put it together."
Kendall has finally heard enough of the nepotism accusations and in a new interview with ABC News, she's defending her success.
"I'm not trying to use a family name or anything," Kendall explained. "In reality I worked pretty hard for this... It wasn't like I just got it magically and it just happened." For what it's worth, Kendall dropped the "Jenner" name from her modeling card a long time ago.
She also cleared up the rumors that she'd "banned" sister Kim Kardashian from her shows. Check out the video below to hear Kendall's side of the story.
