Maybe you're like us: The second that November arrives, our skin goes a little ... crazy. It gets itchy. Dry. Just plain ornery. We end up switching out our facial routine right around now. But we also find ourselves re-evaluating our body lotions, too. Those dry oil sprays or lightweight lotions often no longer cut it, at least, not until spring comes around again.
We've been doing some serious research in the body lotion department so you don't have to. First, the secret of top Hollywood makeup artists. You should know that their favorite body lotions are right there in the drug store, particularly Eucerin (a favorite of dermatologists everywhere) CeraVe and Lubriderm.
For itchy skin, we've recently discovered two products we can't live without; our dermatologists recommended Sarna, an over-the-counter itch lotion. Or try TriCalm, a gel formula that works for itching or burning winter skin. Both are lightweight, easy to spread, and most importantly, easy to find.
If you'd rather indulge a little, it just so happens we have a recommendation there too. Consider the downright rich formula from Lady Primrose, a lotion packed with vitamins C, E, peptides, anti-oxidants and collagen builders. Celebrity fans of the brand includes Reese Witherspoon, Beyonce, Nicole Kidman ... and the Queen. As in, of England. At $60, it's so fancy that it comes with your initial engraved on a nickel-plated lid. Or you can save a few quid and for the non-engraved version for $52.
