Are Demi Lovato's VIP Meet and Greet Packages Too Expensive?

If you've ever dreamed of a VIP meet and greet with Demi Lovato, you better start saving your pennies. Demi's offering an amazing experience during her Australian tour – but it'll cost you. A lot.

There are plenty of perks for the price of the Dressing Room package (about $6,000 US, $7,250 Australian), including a private dressing room for two (with your name on the door and your own rider), time to spend with Demi, and the opportunity to watch the concert from the side of the stage.

If you're looking to spend a little bit less, for $1,500 US, Demi will dedicate a song to a fan who gets to watch from the side of the stage. For $600, you can get your picture taken with the singer.

Note that none of the packages include concert tickets.

For a little pricing perspective, the Adventures in Wonderland site that offers Demi's VIP packages has a Holiday Party package with Nick Jonas, which runs $200 US for fans to have a drink with the Jonas bro.

Singer Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, doesn't believe in VIP packages, as he explained earlier this year: "What I was really trying not to do was have elitist tickets. I didn't want people to pay $170 and get front row tickets and a meet and greet. I hate that s**t. The moment you allow a kid with a rich father to have more things than a kid with a poor father I think that's s**t."
