T.I. Defends Iggy Azalea After Azealia Banks' Diss

Following Azealia Banks' rant against Iggy Azalea and Q.Tip's hip hop lesson afterwards, T.I. hopped on Twitter to share his own thoughts about the music genre and how white people fit into the culture of it.

"...OUR people (blacks in America,& HIPHOP) have had much less qualified White People come along & manipulate our culture for their own [personal] gain," he said in response. "This lead to an almost incoherent overly defensive, paranoid sense of "All White People Wanna Steal Our Sh*t" mentality. Now as difficult as this is to believe We think all white people who do our sh*t...gotta kiss our a** or we don't like em!!! "Dey shady!!!" (Lol No pun intended) But me knowing U,Eminem, and a handful of other (just so happen to be) white people who were inspired by our culture allowed ME TO SEE, that not all white people out to steal our culture."

"There are some that merely wish to contribute to it," he continued. "And I'd be less than ME if I didn't say that...If WE don't allow u guys the same rights & respect we KNOW WE DESERVE in other areas of humanity...WE'RE ALL JUST A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES. AND THATS NOT HIP HOP!!!!"

He continued, addressing Iggy specifically, adding, "I know u don't deserve all da negative sh*t that comes your way. But like I've told u before, it just kinda comes wit da territory...when u gain so much positive attn SO FAST! It all balances out. I know u been broke, hungry& disgusted before,so I know u know just like I do It COULD BE A LOT WORSE. If dis all U gotta put up wit/sacrifice to earn our very above average lifestyles..."

Azealia, who called T.I. a "shoe shinin' coon" among other things in her Hot 97 interview, fired back (again) after seeing the Paperwork rapper's comments. This wasn't the first time that Azealia stirred up a beef with Iggy and T.I., but it is the first time that it went to this level. Not only did Q.Tip chime in, but a group of hackers demanded that Iggy apologize for her comments regarding Azealia, threatening to release her alleged sex tape if she didn't.

So far, Iggy hasn't apologized, but the "Fancy" rapper did reference Q.Tip's history lesson for her , tweeting this instead.:
"I'm also not going to sit on twitter & play hip hop squares with strangers to somehow prove i deserve to be a fan of or influenced by hiphop," she continued. "I would have to be an idiot or incredibly bored to think that would change anyones already cemented opinion of me. I'm neither. how you feel about me blending musical genres together doesn't bother me, no one is making you support or buy pop rap albums. Its entirely up to you what you support and are interested in, thanks if you are interested in me and enjoy my music. I love to hear that!"

It doesn't look like Iggy and Azealia are going to squash this any time soon.
