Apparently, not everyone is in the mood for holiday cheer.
One airline passenger proved just that when he grumpily boarded an airline flight and flipped out when a gate agent wished him "Merry Christmas."
"You shouldn't say that because not everyone celebrates Christmas," he barked in response, according to the New York Post. "Well, what should I say then?," the agent responded. "Don't say, 'Merry Christmas!' " the man shouted before boarding the plane.
Considering that interaction, it didn't make matters any better when he got on the plane and a flight attendant said, "Merry Christmas" almost immediately.
"Don't say, 'Merry Christmas!,'" the man shouted again, going on to give the pilot and flight attendants a lecture about why they needed to keep that phrase to themselves.
The crew reportedly tried to calm the man down, but he continued snapping at them until he was escorted off the plane with other passengers giving a round of applause and cheers as he left.
Maybe he needs a visit from the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.
