The former Gossip Girl star told People she has "always felt like a mama," so motherhood feels natural to her. "I don't feel like it's a massive change," she added.
Blake also dished on her plans to expand her family even more, telling the mag, "I do want to just enjoy this moment, but I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year."
"I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter," she continued. "This is the happiest time in my life, and I could say that every day. I often feel like, 'I can't believe I'm experiencing this.'"
The Age of Adaline star and her hubby Ryan Reynolds welcomed their daughter earlier than expected in December, according to Page Six, which reported that Blake delivered the baby near the couple's home in Bedford, N.Y. just before the new year.
As Blake eases into the role of mom, she also is moving forward with plans to expand her website Preserve, adding, "So much of the inspiration came from my mom and my dad. All the things I feel like I'm good at are thanks to my family, and they're things we're now embracing at Preserve: cooking, decorating, artistry. Family is at the heart of everything I do."
