Urban Outfitters has come under fire for a photo on their UK website that ultimately was banned. We're talking about a page advertising women's underwear that shows a super thin model showing off the item.

Turns out, the thigh gap image didn't win a lot of people over, with the UK's Advertising Standards Authority ordering Urban Outfitters to remove the image from the site.

The ASA explained in their ruling: "We considered that the model was very thin, and noted, in particular, that there was a significant gap between the model's thighs, and that her thighs and knees were a similar width."

Urban Outfitters, however, didn't see it that way, saying, "The model was represented by one of the UK's most successful and well-respected agencies. We do not believe she was underweight."

What do you think of the decision to pull the image? Is this skinny shaming or is it better for retailers to represent more typical body types in advertising?
