When she first entered rehab, she blamed Dr. Luke for her eating disorder, reportedly claiming he gave her a poor body image and told her she looked like a "f**king refrigerator" during a 2012 music video shoot.
After that, things got even worse, with the singer suing him last year for sexual assault and battery. Dr. Luke filed a response claiming that the statements made by Kesha and her mother were defamatory and untrue. Unfortunately, Kesha is still under contract with Dr. Luke, so it's hard to imagine they're hitting the studio together right now.
Still, Kesha is making music and she teased this very short snippet of lyrics on Instagram, captioning it, "I will release new music as soon as I possibly can animals. as soon as I f**king can."
Fans were quick to point the finger at Dr. Luke for the fact that the music isn't out now and "Let Kesha Go Dr Luke" started trending on Twitter almost immediately after the post.
The new sound is much different than Kesha's old stuff, but it sounds like she's definitely throwing a lot more of herself into the music now, which is a scary step for any artist to take.
