Katy Perry has been super busy prepping for her Super Bowl halftime performance, but the pop star did manage to take some time out to shoot the ESPN Magazine cover with Texans hottie J.J. Watt.

If you're not a huge football fan and you decide to Google J.J., you'll find the same image that Katy came across when she turned to the popular search engine.

"I've been showing it to my friends, saying, 'Check out this guy. I'm gonna be shootin' with this guy,'" she told the mag. "That picture was real ... interesting. I mean, he looks so nice now in person! I don't even recognize him." The bloody incident happened back in 2013 and J.J. is able to joke about it now, saying, "My mom has never been a big fan of that photo." Yeah, we can see why!

Fortunately for Katy, she won't have to worry about getting bloodied up during the biggest football game of the year, as she'll be isolated from the tackling and pileups when she performs during the halftime show.

We do know, though, that the pop star won't be flying totally solo. She recently revealed that Lenny Kravitz will be one of her special guests. She's also promised that her entrance and exit for the performance will be "superb."

And while Katy might be one of the biggest pop stars in the world, she still admits that she's a tiny bit nervous about the show. "I'm a human...I'm nervous, duh!" she told E! News. "I'm not superhuman, I'm not a robot!"

Don't worry, Katy, you'll be great!
