The last official word we heard was that Farrah Abraham would not be returning to Teen Mom when the original cast: Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood return to the small screen later this year.

There were reports that Farrah's co-stars didn't want her on the show with them because of some controversial career choices she's made, like her sex tape, line of sex toys and appearances at strip clubs and porn conventions - just to name a few.

Despite all of that, Farrah WILL be returning to the show for the upcoming season. "There's going to be lots of excitement from the Teen Mom fans and MTV's fan base as well, so I'm excited to be back!" Farrah told Us Weekly.

So, what made the producers change their minds? "I think they were more or less saying that there was more to my story that they really felt was missing from the Teen Mom show, and I totally agree with them," she said. "I understand their point of view, and it was a funny situation to be in," she explained.

What about the girls, though? How do they feel? So far, none of them have responded on social media, but they DO know about it and the producer tells the mag that "it did create a little bit of controversy that will play out in the series."

As if we didn't already have enough reasons to watch! Are you excited that Farrah will be returning to Teen Mom?

The show with the FULL original cast will be returning this spring.
