The Last Two Minutes of the Super Bowl Were Absolutely Insane

Super Bowl XLIX had been a pretty normal game right up until the last two minutes.

Once the clock started winding down, all kinds of crazy things started happening. First, the Seahawks' Jermaine Kearse made this crazy catch, where he was basically juggling the ball while he was flat on his back - and he pulled it off!

Things seemed to be looking up for the Seahawks, who were down by four, but ended up getting the ball VERY close to the end zone. So close that they probably could have tripped it in.

Then, for some reason that even the commentators couldn't understand, they tried a pass play and Malcolm Butler made this epic game-saving interception at the goal line.

Following the clutch catch, the Patriots' luck turned. The Seahawks defense had a false start and the encroachment earned them an extra 5 yards of breathing room. After that, a fight broke out and they got another 15 yards after the refs ejected Bruce Irvin for 'unnecessary roughness.'

When all was said and done, the Patriots basically just had to hang out for the remaining 18 seconds to score themselves yet another Super Bowl victory.
