The good news is that most people seem to be rallying behind Bruce and his family members are no exception. His mother is especially proud, telling RadarOnline, "I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian, a wonderful public speaker. He instills enthusiasm in people. He's gifted."
Amen to that! No matter which gender Bruce identifies with, we are talking about a wonderful, caring, loving human being here and it's truly a shame if people lose sight of that.
As for the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, a source tells People that "each of them had to process it in their own way," but that everyone came around "pretty quickly."
Apparently, Scott Disick took a little while to accept everything (although he did eventually) while Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West immediately embraced the change.
"He is totally fine with it," a source tells the mag. "He believes in live and let live, and he took it all in stride. He and Kim are just trying to show Bruce love and acceptance – complete acceptance."
The most important thing in all of this is not how any one person reacted or what this one said or did. The only thing that truly matters is that Bruce is happy - and he is.
In fact, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kim said that Bruce is the happiest she's ever seen him and for someone who has been in her life for over 20 years, that's a pretty powerful statement.
