"It's amazing. When we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I ever had in my entire life," the Mississippi Grind star gushed on the Late Show with David Letterman. "I used to say to her, 'I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you'."
"I would say that to my wife," he continued. "And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby."
While Ryan was on a roll, he also joked about his new life as a dad, giving props to Blake (in a comedic way) about all of her mommy duties.
"I'm just a diaper-changing facility hooked up to a life-support system, but my wife - she's breakfast, lunch, and dinner," Ryan added with a smile. "She's a human Denny's all day long. And it never ends for her. She's the most beautiful Denny's you've ever seen though, I'm sure of it."
Aw, that Ryan. Such a romantic.
