When Iggy Azalea recently ordered a pizza from Papa John's, she got something extra and it wasn't a free order of breadsticks. Instead, the rapper says she received tons of texts from randoms after an employee gave out her phone number.
Naturally, she took to Twitter to air out her grievances (in the middle of the Grammys, nonetheless).
Understandably, Iggy was not amused and even threatened to sue after the chain supposedly didn't fire the employee who leaked her info.
@PapaJohns I don't think data breach is funny. I expect you to contact me to explain how you are going to rectify your breach- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
@PapaJohns of my personal information in a satisfactory and professional way or lawsuit will be filed.- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
When an employee steals information it's called data breach. It's illegal. There are steps a corporation is supposed to follow afterward.- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
We agree that Papa John's original reply was not okay, but it looks like all is well since they reached out via direct message.
They don't include tweeting out song lyrics to the customer making the complaint, it's really unprofessional. I want a real answer.- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) February 9, 2015
We think Papa John's should send her some free pizzas ASAP!
