Following the release of the first Age of Adaline trailer, we're getting more of a glimpse of what's in store for Adaline Bowman.

After a near-fatal car accident, Adaline (Blake Lively) no longer has the ability to age, and has continued to stay 29 years old for nearly eight decades. Because of her immortality, Adaline has lived a solitary existence, never giving herself a chance to get close enough to anyone for fear they might reveal her secret.

"Don't you miss having someone to love?," her daughter (Ellen Burstyn), who now is an older woman, asks her. "It's not the same when there's no growing old together," Adaline replies.

AgeD4-090.dngAdaline's perspective on love changes when she meets philanthropist Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman), giving her hope that she can actually share her life with someone. That is until Adaline meets his parents (Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker) in the latest trailer...and his father recognizes her.

Don't miss Blake in action when Age of Adaline hits theaters April 24.
