North West Raises Eyebrows in Giant Fur Coat: Is It Real or Fake?

North West looks super cute in her coat, there is no denying that. What we aren't SUPER crazy about, however, is the fact that it's a fur coat.

Nori's mom Kim Kardashian has made animal rights activists pretty mad in the past, so we're not sure why she would put fur on North and subject her to the same criticism, but there she is.

We do have a theory, though. Nori's aunt Khloe Kardashian is not a fan of fur and even recently wore a fake fur coat with "F**k yo fur" spray painted across the back in big red writing. So maybe, just MAYBE Khloe bought the coat for North and it's fake fur.

Khloe has actually worked with PETA in the past, posing for an "I'd rather go naked than wear fur" campaign. She cut her ties with the organization in 2012 after a PETA member dumped flour on Kim during a red carpet appearance to protest the fact that she wears fur.

"We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise," Khloe blogged after the incident.

While it is unclear whether North is sporting a faux fur coat or a real one, PETA commented on it, anyway.

"Kids are naturally drawn to animals and sympathetic to their plight, and there's no reason to think that North is any different," their Senior Vice President told Page Six. "If the fur coat that she's been dressed in is real, animals have suffered for vanity, something that we're sure neither North nor any little girl her age would support."

North is definitely too young to understand any of that stuff and hopefully when she IS old enough to make her decisions, she'll opt for faux fur.
