Remember that gorgeous white pearl dress that Lupita Nyong'o wore to the Oscars? Well, it's gone. Someone stole it right out of her hotel room.

According to TMZ, Lupita told cops that the dress, which is made from 6,000 white Akoya pearls and valued at $150,000 was taken sometime between 8 am and 9 pm on Tuesday, while she was out.

Hopefully security footage will provide some clues, and TMZ says that police are currently reviewing the footage in hopes that it will help them catch the thief.

It's a really unique dress, though, and we can't imagine the person who stole it being able to wear or sell it without anybody putting two-and-two together.

There is also the fact that the Calvin Klein dress was custom made for Lupita's body, so whoever does try to wear it will have to have exactly her measurements.
