On the dance-pop song, Carly sings about a crush, telling him over and over again, "I really, really, really, really, really, really like you. And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?"
Although Carly hasn't had a hit on the level of "Call Me Maybe" since it debuted in 2012, her manager, Scooter Braun, thinks "I Really Like You" can change that record up. "I told her that she couldn't come out with anything unless it was on the level of 'Call Me Maybe,'" he told Billboard in January. "And, now we have a new one that is on that level."
It looks like Twitter agreed. After Carly's song hit iTunes, fans went nuts, tweeting that they not only couldn't get the tune out of their heads, but also "really, really" liked it. Justin Bieber also showed his support for his protégé, tweeting, "Make my artist @carlyraejepsen #1 again! And get ready for the video. Crazy :) @tomhanks," adding, "I really really really really really really like you."
The Biebs and Tom Hanks are set to star in Carly's upcoming video for the song, which she posted a shot from last week.
Did we mention she says 'really' in the song 67 times? What do you think of Carly's new jam? Love it or not so much? Tell us in the comments!
