We are so excited for Amber Portwood, who recently confirmed that she and boyfriend Matt Baier are engaged. Matt actually popped the question back in November and Amber had kept it quiet, but somehow the news leaked and almost immediately, there were rumors that they only got engaged for the show. That's when Amber decided it was time to speak up.

"I don't stage things for [the cameras], I live my life. MTV follows me - I don't follow them," she told MTV News. "Everything that is seen on Teen Mom OG is our lives, and this is the way it is. We've never tried to do anything to please others. It's our lives to help others - it's not just for TV."

In a new interview with Us Weekly, Amber opens up about finding love again and how this relationship is drastically different than the one she had with her daughter's father, Gary Shirley. "How we are together compared to the way me and Gary were - it's just completely different," she tells them, adding that her fiance is "amazing."

Amber reveals that she would never find someone that she was going to marry, but she did and she's obviously thrilled that her life surprised her in such a beautiful way.

"I mean, he's really funny. He's really smart," she told the mag. "He's a lot older than me, but he's mature and he can handle me. We have similar personalities. I think when you stop trying to look for somebody and you give up, [that's] when I actually found him."

We are so happy that Amber has found happiness. After cleaning her life up and getting sober, we're thrilled to see that things continue to move in a positive direction for her.
