"Jesus, what happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen. #grahamnorton," she first Tweeted. After many users pointed out that Kelly gave birth to daughter River Rose last June, Katie dismissed that the American Idol winner's weight gain could be baby related.
Luckily, Kelly could care less about Katie's rude comments, telling Heat magazine she wasn't even aware of her internet hater. "Oh, and she's tweeted something nasty about me?" she asked the mag. "That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will."
Darling, if you had a baby a year ago, that is not baby weight. It is fat. Quit calling it cute names to make yourself feel better.- Katie Hopkins (@KTHopkins) February 20, 2015
"I've just never cared what people think," Kelly continues. "It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. You need to be happy with you are, whoever that is, let your little light shine."
Shine on and show those haters, Kelly!
