Peeps, that traditional sugar-coated marshmallowy Easter candy, has just taken it to a new (liquid) level. Hoping to bank on the success of the chubby mallow bunnies and chicks, Peeps has moved beyond just spring availability in years past to offer all manner of different shapes and themes for a variety of holidays.

Bottom line: they're not just available for Easter anymore. If you're not getting enough candy and sugar in your diet this spring holiday, the fine Peeps folks are hoping you'll reach for some sugary milk too. They've partnered with Prairie Farms to release three Peeps flavors: Marshmallow Milk, Chocolate Marshmallow Milk and Easter Eggnog.

The marshmallow milks are reduced fat, but not reduced sugar, so we're guessing there's not much of a health benefit there. A cup of the reduced fat variety still packs 37 grams of sugar! The new Peeps-flavored milks are only available in the mid-west for now, however.

Call us crazy, but we're Peeps purists - old school variety, slightly stale.
