Emma Watson Talks Nude Photo Hoax, Dating Etiquette

Emma Watson will not be bullied into silence! On International Women's Day, the actress and HeForShe ambassador did a Facebook Q&A and explained how hackers threatening to leak nonexistent nude photos of her only made her resolve to discuss feminism stronger.

In case you missed it, Emma gave an amazing speech last year about gender inequality at the U.N. Afterwards, hackers claimed they would release naked pics of her for her "stupid feminist speeches." The whole thing turned out to be a hoax, but Emma never let it intimidate her.

"I knew it was a hoax. I knew the pictures didn't exist," she explained. "If anything, it made me so much more determined. I was just raging. It made me so angry that I was just like, 'This is why I have to be doing this!' So if anything, it actually, if they were trying to put me off it, they did the opposite."

You go, girl! The 24-year-old Goodwill ambassador also shared her thoughts on if being a feminist means you can't like chivalry. "I love having the door opened for me. I love being taken to dinner...but I think the key is would you mind if I open the door for you?"

Emma actually took a man to dinner and admits it was awkward to have traditional roles reversed. "I chose the restaurant and I offered to pay and it was really awkward and uncomfortable...but the cool thing about it was that we were both willing to have the conversation about why it was awkward...we were able to have this dialogue. Chivalry should be consensual."

We totally agree! Head over to Emma's Facebook to watch all of her inspiring webcast.
