A Girl Scout troop in Salem, New Hampshire is trying out a new way to sell their cookies, taking their sweets from the streets to a drive-thru. According to the Associated Press, the troop will sell cookies to drivers on the city's Main Street.
It's clear these Girl Scouts are pros when it comes to the cookie business. The girls had already sold 1,200 boxes by Sunday, but were hoping to sell 5,000 boxes with the help of the drive through.
Troop leaders said the cookie sale program not only satisfies customers' cravings for the cookies, but also teaches scouts valuable business and people skills.
We can only hope this idea catches on.
