There's been so much media speculation and crazy rumors about Bruce Jenner's changing looks, but Kris Jenner's former husband has stayed totally quiet about his evolving appearance thus far. So we were excited to hear he was getting his very own E! reality show about his reported transition to a woman so we could hear Bruce's story in his own words.

Filming had already begun on Bruce's E! show, but now it seems we may be waiting even longer to hear his side, as People reports that production on the series has been put on hold. After Bruce was involved in a deadly car crash, the show was reportedly still filming, but now he's is having second thoughts.

"Bruce's primary goal is to bring awareness to this issue in order to help others [in the transgender community]," a source tells People. "He is not sure that E! and a reality show is the best format to do that."

The one time Olympian wants to be taken seriously and understandably is unsure if a show on E! is the best way to do so. "He wants to explore other options," the source says. "But Bunim/Murray are making him feel trapped in his contract and are not allowing him to explore other avenues to tell his story."

We think it's smart for Bruce to make sure the TV show will be exactly what he wants it to be since it's a sensitive subject, and we'll tune in no matter where it ends up airing!
