Christmas just came early for Frozen fans.

After months of rumors, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Thursday in a shareholder meeting that there would indeed be a sequel for the successful animated flick, which has grossed $1.2 billion (!) worldwide to date, according to Deadline.

Co-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are both set to return to the film and it looks like all of the original cast members, including Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff will be back as well.

Just a few weeks ago, Kristen told Bustle the project hadn't been green lit yet, but she "really hoped" Disney would. "All of our cast members would love to be involved," she continued. "We're twiddling our thumbs and trying to nudge them in the right direction."
Box OfficeIn addition to its box office pull, the success of Frozen also led to a lucrative merchandise line for girls, a stage show, and an Oscar win in 2014 for best animated feature. The news comes just a day before short film Frozen Fever hits theaters.
