Demi Lovato continues to inspire her fans with the nuggets of wisdom she's learned on her personal journey. One of those life lessons has been about having a positive self-image and, as the spokesperson for the #BeRadiant campaign, she's continuing to spread that message of positivity.

In a recent interview with Flare, Demi was asked what she's learned about self-image and being famous. She explained: "I've had to learn that trying to please other people is never going to work; I've learned to love myself for the way that I am. I've also learned it's important to do everything I can to balance out my spiritual, physical and mental health."

As for the best body advice she's been given, take note because Demi is passing along some great tips: "The best piece of advice is what I've had to learn on my own and tell myself. To never compare yourself to others, just be content and confident in the body that you have and who you are. When you find those things, it's more powerful than anything anybody can tell you."
