Kim Kardashian's blonde hair was obviously a bold decision, which clearly was a good one because everyone is totally obsessed with it. But, as it turns out, the platinum 'do was something she had been contemplating for awhile and the reason she finally decided to take the plunge has to do with the fact that she's not pregnant.

We know what you're thinking because we thought the same thing - what does her hair makeover have to do with not being pregnant?!

A lot, actually...

In an interview with E! News, Kim reveals that she wanted to go platinum after she had North, and then she "chickened out," which resulted in the blonde highlights she was rocking for a little while during that time.

"I kept on saying after baby number two, I'll go platinum, I'll go platinum," she told them while promoting her Glu mobile game app. "That hasn't happened, so I'm like 'what am I waiting for?' I've done everything so perfect to try to get pregnant. I eat differently, no sugar, you can't dye your hair."

"I figured I'm gonna do everything I wanna do and that included going platinum," she added. "Hopefully I will get pregnant doing all the wrong things. I'm totally changing my tactics...I'm over it. I'm over trying, overthinking it, hence why I dyed my hair blond."

She pointed out that it's crazy how when you don't want to be pregnant, it happens and then when you're trying so hard, it's so hard to achieve.

Now, Kim is doing what she wants, saying there was a list of things she didn't do for 8-10 months while trying to conceive and now she's so frustrated, she's just gonna do everything she had NOT been doing and see what happens...

Fingers crossed!
