Four months after Kelly Rowland gave birth to her son Titan Jewell, the adorable little boy is making his debut.

The singer, her hubby Tim Witherspoon and their son appear on the new cover of Essence this month, with Kelly palming her smiley tiny tot as he looks up at his dad. "My road to my happiness hasn't been an easy one," she told the mag. "It hasn't been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy."

Kelly also opened up to Entertainment Tonight about her life as a mom adding, "I actually wish I would have had him sooner. It's just so much joy. I just feel so blessed...I try to wake up a little bit earlier than him because I like watching his face in the morning, because he wakes up smiling. It just does something for my spirit."

Just a month after Titan was born, Kelly's mom Doris passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest. The new mom said Doris got to see Titan before she passed, adding, "I have the most beautiful picture with Titan and my mom. When he came home...he was just right on her chest and she was very happy."

"There's moments when I'm changing Titan and he's just kind of looking over my head and he just bursts out in giggles, and I'm like, 'Hey, mom,'" she continued. "I just feel like she's always somewhere near."

Kelly also said her mom helped prepare her for motherhood, adding, "She told me I'd be a great mom. One of the last things she told me was how proud she was of me."

Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, has also been a great help to Kelly. "She has been nothing but a blessing," Kelly continued. "She's such a great example of a mother."
