Vanessa Hudgens Talks Zac Efron Relationship: "I Was Really Mean"
"I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up," the Spring Breakers star told the New York Times. "Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares. Then I realized that's not what that's about. Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice."
Zac and Vanessa split back in 2010, and the actress went on to date Austin Butler, who she's now living with and who also helped restore her Christian faith. The couple even attends services together at Hillsong, a hugely popular megachurch in Los Angeles known for its "flashing lights, video production and clublike atmosphere," the publication reported.
"It feels like Arcade Fire - it's epic like that," Vanessa, who was born Catholic, said. "They really focus on you having your own personal relationship with Jesus, which is wonderful."
The actress also dished that her spirituality involves crystals, dreamcatchers and flowers. "I'm a definite hippie," she said. "I'm literally my happiest self when I'm dancing half naked on a grass field listening to Led Zeppelin."
Meanwhile, Zac has moved on with his girlfriend Sami Miro, who he started dating last year.
