"I thought that the joke was not edited in the proper way, and that's just something I have to live with," she on the Today show. "It wasn't a live show; it was taped. We had several hours to fix it. The editors, the producers, no one saw anything wrong because when they heard the joke, it was truly a joke about the hippie culture."
Yesterday, Kelly Osbourne posted a cryptic tweet that many assumed was about her former Fashion Police co-host, writing, "Liars ALWAYS get caught!"
In an exclusive new interview with People, however, Kelly isn't being cryptic anymore. After telling the mag that she is not "going to sit there and perpetuate evilness," Kelly finally opened up about the whole situation.
"There's been so much drama surrounded by what went on at Fashion Police that I have chosen to keep quiet about," she tells them. "I will [continue to keep quiet] because I don't think it will do anyone service, but I will say this: Giuliana is not often wrong. She really isn't, but it's been really, really heartbreaking to see her behavior that has transpired when she did get caught being wrong. That's what broke my heart."
George Kotsiopoulos, another one of the show's former co-hosts, is also speaking out and he seems to echo a similar sentiment. "To not own up to what you said and to blame it on others is just a little messed up," George said during an event on Wednesday (via People).
As for Giuliana, she is yet to respond to their latest comments, but she was asked about Kelly's tweet during an interview with Extra TV on Wednesday. Check out the video below to see what she said.
