Bai Ling wants to be Daenerys Targaryen so bad.

The Chinese-American actress set the 2015 MTV Movie Awards blue carpet ablaze in her own unique way by wearing a gold top that featured a - wait for it - 3D dragon. For real. Its big ol' head could be seen peering out from behind her shoulder while the tail slithered down across her back toward her hip.

We take that back. The full-on animal embellishment (or should we say plus 1?!) is not exactly the most original ensemble. The look is reminiscent of Icelandic artist Björk's white swan dress at the 2001 Oscars.
dragon dress, bai lingIn case you were wondering if tonight's highly anticipated season 5 premiere of Game of Thrones really did inspire Bai's outfit, she told Cambio that she wore it because she feels like she is a dragon. OK...

Bummer. We could have gotten on board if Bai was paying tribute to the one and only Khaleesi. Who doesn't fantasize about being the stunning, compassionate, badass ruler who has dragons for pets?!
