Apparently, baking the perfect dessert involves mixing sugar, eggs, flour and water in a bowl. That sounds completely ordinary, that is, until you add the most critical and unique ingredient - a healthy dose of culinary expertise from an extremely ambitious 8-year-old named Charli. If you're severely baking-challenged like me (meaning your attempts at baking involve consultation with the back of a box), then you might consider adding Charli's successful YouTube channel CharlisCraftyKitchen to your go-to list of cooking references ASAP.

According to a report compiled by Outrigger Media, CharlisCraftyKitchen is the number one earner amongst YouTube's food and cooking genre. Thanks to the popularity of Charli's baking tips (along with the assistance of her 5-year-old sister Ashlee who is the designated chief taste tester), not only is she rolling the dough, she's literally raking it in with an estimated monthly average of $127,777 in ad revenue. While that sounds completely mind-boggling for someone who's still in elementary school, here are some even more astounding numbers: CharlisCraftyKitchen channel currently boasts more than 300,000 subscribers and averages 29 million views a month.

To date, Charli and Ashlee have created a virtual smorgasbord of yummy recipes, including Disney-inspired treats such as their Minnie Mouse cupcakes. They even offer an array of healthy alternatives like fruit pops and personalized fruit kebobs.

Obviously, Charli's a girl who knows her way around the kitchen. Just as she helps others go from culinary novice to kitchen whiz, she also serves as an inspiration for young girls and women who want to pursue their dreams by providing them with her very own recipe for success.
