After the #KylieJennerChallenge was trending on Facebook and Twitter for a few days - which was a few days too long, if you ask us - Kylie finally shared her thoughts with her 8.9 million Twitter followers.
"I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look," she wrote. "I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment w your look."
There is also the fact that people were actually hurting themselves while attempting the challenge, so that's an added drawback, but we loved her response because we totally agree with her.
Of course, that didn't stop people from obsessing about her lips and saying she's had work done (although she has admitted that her plump pout is the result of over-lining, NOT plastic surgery). When someone tweeted at Kylie today, saying "I love your fake lips," she responded with this:
@akeelney me too 😩😩😩😩- Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) April 24, 2015
In this case, an emoji (or four) is worth a thousand words. We're all sighing with you, Ky!
The good news is that the 17-year-old reality star is going to be spilling her makeup secrets in a series of YouTube tutorials. "ok but when are those youtube tutorials coming out so we can stop girls from sucking their lips into a bottle," one person asked Kylie with a perfectly-phrased question. "June I'm hoping," Kylie replied.
In the meantime, we'd love to see people take Kylie's advice and be themselves. Who knows, maybe your signature style can be the next 'look' that everyone is admiring so much!
