Bruce Jenner confirmed during his interview with Diane Sawyer on Friday night that he is undergoing a gender transition.
Perhaps the only thing more emotionally moving than the former Olympian's interview itself are the touching messages his family members posted on social media.
Twitter - "Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter. Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life! #respect #hero #family."
Instagram - "It might not always be easy but we support you no matter what! Your honesty has opened the doors for others to be courageous and live an authentic life!#respect #hero #family."
Twitter - "World's greatest athlete ❤️❤️❤️" and "Just finished watching the #BruceJennerInterview with the family. Bruzer, I'm soooo proud of you! Dads really are heros."
Instagram - (see photo below)
Twitter - "I love you. So very proud of you, my hero."
Twitter - "Understandingly, this has been very hard for me. You will hear what I have to say when I'm ready to but.....this isn't about me. I'm so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful Hero." And "All this positive feedback I'm reading! makes me so happy."
Twitter - "Couldn't be a more proud daughter. With courage and bravery, let's change the world. I am honored to stand by Bruce's side and support him."
Twitter - "You have always been a role model to me and now more than ever, I look up to you. LOVE YOU"
Twitter - "Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero."
Instagram - See below, captioned, "You won another gold tonight. I stand with you on this journey. I love you Dad."
Instagram - See below, captioned "Proud son."
We love seeing all of the support Bruce is getting from his family and all of the positive messages that are filling our social media feeds. He doesn't have a Twitter account that we know of, but hopefully he's still seeing all of this somehow ❤️
Editor's Note: Per Jenner's stated preference, Cambio will continue to refer to Bruce using male pronouns until he indicates otherwise.
