Kim Kardashian Says Bruce Jenner Has Found 'Pure Happiness'

Now that Bruce Jenner revealed his big news that he's transitioning to a woman during a sit down with Diane Sawyer, Kim Kardashian is discussing Bruce's brave decision in an interview as well. Monday morning on The Today Show, she praised her stepdad for his honesty to Matt Lauer.

"I'm really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it and that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness," Kim explained. "That's what life is about. I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself."

While Kim says she supports him "100 percent", she admits it hasn't always been easy. "Is it a hard adjustment? Yes," she shares, adding that they wanted to be sensitive to deciding what pronouns to use going forward. "What do we call him? Do we say him or her? How do we be respectful?"

"Bruce wants us to feel as comfortable as possible and take everything at our pace and we love him for that...until that transition is done, we've learned that you do refer to him as him," Kim says. "I think when you are finally ready to be your true self, you're prepared for anything. I think he is ready for the challenge and ready to help other people's lives that might be going through the same things that he's going through and that's something that he's really proud of and something he's really ready to take on, and I'm really proud of him for that."

We commend Kim for her insightful interview and being so supportive and Bruce for his bravery.

Editor's Note: Per Jenner's stated preference, Cambio will continue to refer to Bruce using male pronouns until he indicates otherwise.
