Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea's duet "Pretty Girls" leaked early over the weekend, but it got pulled down pretty quickly. Now, it's officially been released and you don't have to feel guilty about listening to it this time.
Iggy was pretty upset about the leak and made a rare Twitter appearance (she quit Twitter and Instagram and the accounts are now run by her management) to vent about the situation.
I happened to have noticed that pretty girls, my song with @britneyspears has leaked and is on some radio stations etc...- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) May 3, 2015
I'm really really happy to see so many people loving it but i also just want to clarify its not an "early" release its a leak and if you can- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) May 3, 2015
She also clarified that despite speculation, she WAS singing on the chorus with Britney. "I guess you guys aren't used to hearing my singing voice," she wrote, saying that it will be more obvious when they perform.
we would really appreciate everyone holding out until monday to share links etc if possible (i know its hard, I'm excited too!)- IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) May 3, 2015
Of course, we're all obsessed with the song, and despite the fact that she's ON the track with Britney, Iggy is fangirling right along with us. "To be honest im just over here acting like a total fan girl for britneys vocals on this song," she tweeted. "Cant. stop. listening. so classically britney."
