A lot has been said about Zayn Malik's decision to quit One Direction. Everybody's got an opinion, including former Oasis singer Noel Gallagher, who thinks Zayn was a "f**king idiot" for leaving the band.

Let's pretend for a minute that this whole Naughty Boy/Zayn/Louis Tomlinson feud didn't blow up on Twitter today and see what Noel meant when he said that.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Noel was asked what he thought about Zayn's decision, which he called a "strange" thing for Zayn to have done.

Noel also had a laugh over Zayn's desire to just "be a normal 22-year-old," saying, "Hang on a minute. You can be f**king anything that moves and gettin' paid f**king half a million dollars a week, you f**king idiot. You want to be a normal 22-year-old? Have you met any normal 22-year-olds? They're f**kin' sh*t-for-brains. What are you talking about, you f**kin' idiot?"

He added, "Well, I'll say this to you, Zayn: 'You might have wanted to be a normal 22-year-old, but you won't want to be a normal 25-year-old.'"

Alright. That's one way to look at it.

Noel recently lumped One Direction in with other with other pop music singers/groups, calling them "beige."
