Mayhem (who was "nicknamed for her free-spirited attitude") boasts nearly 482,000 followers on Instagram, where her mom and "assistant paper dress maker" posts all of her designs. Most of Mayhem's dresses are inspired by red carpet looks and recreated with wrapping paper and other kid-friendly craft supplies, so it was only a matter of time before major labels starting taking notice of the adorable little fashion prodigy. Jenny Cooper, the head designer for Crewcuts (J. Crew's children's line) pitched the idea of working with Mayhem to the President and Creative Director Jenna Lyons. The results? They're pretty darn cute. For the summer 2015 collection, the J. Crew folks worked closely with Mayhem to create pieces in line with her crafty know-how and sassy personal style. And after all that hard work? Sources say that she promptly took a nap in Jenna's office. Can we get a collective awww?
