After food blogger Marie Saba created an edible work of art from a portrait of the actress, the Age of Adaline star couldn't help but gush over her foodie creativity.
"Mona Lisa/ da Vinci. Adele Bloch-Bauer/Kilmt. Kitchen Maid/Vermeer. Blake Lively / Marie Saba. ...one of these things is not like the other," she captioned the Blake-themed plated of food. "Art no less!! @mariesaba you made my dreams true. ...I finally are what I eat! Am. What I eat. You are what YOU eat. But I'm LITERALLY what I eat. See. Because of the . (Please stop talking)."
Marie actually posted the a side-by-side shot of Blake and the food portrait about a month ago, giving details of how she created it while she was at it. She used white bread for her face, neck, nose and brows; mozzarella and jellybean for the eyes; dill for the lashes; apple pieces for her mouth; cherry jam for the blush; chocolate for her mole; cabbage for her dress; white and wheat bread for with butter and maple syrup glaze for her hair.
Blake has made it no secret she loves food and is even a budding chef. The Gossip Girl alum recently joked that she "rubs truffles on [her] nipples every day" for her daughter James' sake, adding, "You got to give her a very well balanced palate from a young age so she doesn't eat only beige food!"
All jokes aside, she does plan to share her passion for cooking – and eating - with her baby girl when she's old enough. "You can't be around me and not be exposed to all different cuisines," she continued.
