You know what sucks? When you go for a run and you get through that hellacious "warm-up mile," you hit your stride, you're pumped, you're feeling good and then that rogue love song from your playlist comes on. Love songs may be great for love and all that stuff, but they totally kill the mood when you're trying to work out.

Fortunately, Spotify figured out a solution for that. Introducing Spotify Running, which will match the music to your running pace. So, if you get a love song, it's your own fault for not running hard enough!

We're not gonna lie, the video alone makes us want to dig up our running shoes (they're around here somewhere) and hit the pavement. We're even trying to figure out which songs we would get. Maybe a little Maroon 5 for the warm-up and then they'd hit us with some Queen Bey for the sprints?

"We've combined the best music on the planet - recommendations based on your listening history, multiple-genre playlists and original running compositions written by some of the world's foremost DJs and composers – all tuned to your tempo and seamlessly transitioned to ensure you'll never miss a beat," the company revealed in their surprise announcement today.

They also announced that they will be adding videos and podcasts, so even when you're done with your run, you can still use Spotify.
