New App Lets You Ask for Advice on Tough Text Replies

We've all received those weird texts where we're like "what does that even mean?" and trying to craft a reply to those texts is not easy. Especially if it's someone important and you don't want to say the wrong thing.

A new app, Textie, gives you an assist in answering the tough texts. If you get something that you're having trouble replying to, you just upload the message and people chime in with what they think your response should be. The most popular reply gets bumped to the top of the list.

If you're in need of an urgent response and just can't come up with one on your own, you can pay 99 cents to get your text bumped to the top of the website to increase engagement.

Some of the texts on there are pretty standard small talk, so we can't imagine why people would want help responding to something like "what's up?" but if you need an assist, it's there for you.

We can picture a lot of situations that it would come in handy, though. For example, if you've ever gotten an "I just want to be friends" text and you get caught off-guard, so you're just like 'ok' or even 'k' if you're really annoyed and then you think of something two days later that would have been THE best response ever.

Now, you can just give a shoutout to your virtual peeps and they can give you something funny to say back. In this case, someone suggested "Friend zone request accepted!" which we thought was kind of awesome.
