As she planned, the actress kicked off a road trip across the country with friends, making stops in Phoenix, Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona, as well as the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Nina and her pals threw some fun into the mix as well by challenging fans to participate in their #gypsy5onaride scavenger hunt, leaving behind polaroids of themselves for fans to find.
"There are many cacti in Phoenix but only 1 CACTUS. Here we go. Round 5 of the Cross Country Roadtrip Scavenger Hunt. #Gypsy5onARide Hint:Had to hit up the DRIVE IN on the way out," Nina captioned a shot of herself and her friends posing outside of an In-N-Out. "Don't forget to post a picture of your self with the Polaroid if you find it, as well as a closeup of the Polaroid ifself....and TAG ALL OF US in your instagram post! Ok.... GO!!!!!!"
The actress told StyleCaster the road trip was "really great," adding, "we ended up going for two weeks straight. Which was a long time, and it is a long time, but it was really good because we got to really spend some time and see a lot of places that we wouldn't have otherwise."
After road tripping, Nina also stopped by the Indy500 where she hung out with Indy car driver Marco Andretti (and snapped a pic with his car). She also made time to hang out with Zedd, who's recently been linked to Selena Gomez.
Rumors started flying that the DJ and Vampire Diaries star were dating after Zedd posted a selfie of him and Nina on Instagram. "Thank you for teaching me your selfie tricks @ninadobrev . My eyes couldn't find the camera lens though." Nina reposted the shot on Instagram writing, "Thank you for teaching me your DJing tricks. I would never be able to spin as good as you though." She also retweeted it, writing, "your welcome ! Thanks for an epic night!"
So far, neither one has confirmed or denied that they're dating, and Nina is moving along with her journey post-Vampire Diaries. We can't wait to see what else she has in store.
